1. The California Department of Motor Vehicles is requesting purchase of HP ALM function testing and software license support renewal. Bidders must be HP authorized resellers. Bid responses are due May 22.

2. The Department of Motor Vehicles also is buying Oracle software support renewal. The services are to be provided by an Oracle Authorized Partner/Certified Reseller. Responses to a Request for Quotation are due May 22.

3. The California Department of Conservation is buying software for geologic modeling and petroleum engineering. The department's Division of Oil, Gas and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR) wants to deploy a software platform used in the exploration and production sector of the petroleum industry. "Additionally, DOGGR seeks to improve data management capabilities and performance efficiency through implementation of the workflows utilized in geologic modeling and petroleum engineering software." The procurement (responses are due May 26) could result in a contract of as long as three years.

4. A Request for Quotation from the California Department of Technology will purchase an Rsam software-as-a-service (SaaS) subscription for incident management and governance, and risk and compliance software and support. The California Office of Information Security "has automated the incident management and risk reporting process in order to improve the effectiveness of the office’s oversight of information security and privacy. The automated tool is configured on Rsam’s platform, which leverages modules for incident management and risk reporting," the RFQ says. Quotes are due May 25.

5. The California Air Resources Board is seeking migration and implementation services for its enterprise migration to Microsoft Office 365 for email, Azure, SharePoint Online and other products. Bid responses are due May 26.
