1. Web Project Manager

The California Department of Child Support Services is seeking management and oversight services for a project that will modernize the department's Web platform.

"Specifically the web project has the following goals: 1) consolidate, re-design and re-platform approximately nine websites currently overseen by the department to improve efficiency and ease of access to child support information, IT components and infrastructure necessary to accomplish that goal; 2) redesign the layout of the web pages to make them more user-friendly and improve ease of access to child support information; 3) create web user profiles so that customers, Local Child Support Agency (LCSA) staff and DCSS staff can easily and quickly access information that pertains to their needs; 4) develop a web platform that can be quickly and easily changed to reflect the program’s evolving business needs; 5) enable authorized department administrators to update in real time the content of web pages they are responsible for maintaining; and 6) develop a web system that can seamlessly communicate with the department’s automation system, namely the Child Support Enforcement (CSE) system."

Responses to the RFO are due May 17.

2. Building Management System Replacement and Air Units

The California Department of Technology is looking to replace two rooftop Makeup Air Units and to install Building Management System software at the OTech Gold Camp state data center in Rancho Cordova. Here's more information:

"The CDT’s Gold Camp facility occupies approximately 155,000 sq. ft. including approximately 42,000 sq. ft. of climate controlled raised floor computer room and an approximately 22,000 sq. ft. central plant that supports the raised floor computer room and offices. CDT is in the process of replacing infrastructure equipment at the Gold Camp facility that is over 17 years old and at end of life as defined by Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) standards. The department plans to replace two existing units with more efficient MAU’s that will use less power and chilled water from the central plant."

Responses to an RFQ issued on Thursday are due May 24.

3. Oracle Software Support Renewal

The California Department of Motor Vehicles is purchasing Oracle software support (renewal) for the Department of Motor Vehicles. The services are to be provided by an Oracle Authorized Partner/Certified Reseller. Quotes are due May 22.

4. Security Operations Center Startup

The California Department of Technology is accepting bids due for this RFO due May 10. The department is launching a Security Operations Center of its own this year.
