California Technology Agency Chief Technology Officer appointed as Department of Justice CIO

Adrian Farley, Chief Technology Officer for the California Technology Agency, has been appointed as the Department of Justice’s new Chief Information Officer, DOJ spokesman Nicholas Pacilio confirmed today.

Farley, whose title with the agency also includes Assistant Secretary for Enterprise Architecture & Technology Initiatives, served as Chief Deputy Director for Policy and program Management for the Office of the Chief Information Officer after being appointed to the position in 2008 by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger. Farley previously worked as Deputy Cabinet Secretary for Schwarzenegger and has also worked with the Department of General Services and the Chief Procurement Officer.
