Data: 2015-16 California State Contracting Summary

The Department of General Services recently released an annual summary of contracting activity in state government during 2015-16.

A total of 159 departments reported $8.1 billion in state contracts. Of that amount, $2.5 billion was awarded to small- and medium-sized business, and $349 million went to Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE).
