The county of Riverside is considering a reclassification of Information Technology positions. The action item is slated for the county’s Board of Supervisors policy calendar on Tuesday. The policy change was recommended by the assistant director of human resources and could include a salary adjustment.

The county is also considering a five-year renewal contract for its Cisco software. This would cost about $1.3 million each year. The agreement would be executed by Dimension Data North America Inc. The county’s CIO, Dave Rogers, recommended the lease approval.

Riverside County’s Flood Control and Water Conservation District is considering an annual renewal of Superion Software and Bentley Systems that assist in project cost accounting and project management. The respective renewals and associated upgrades could cost a combined $310,200.

San Francisco’s mayor sponsored a motion on the Board of Supervisors calendar to change a sharing agreement for emergency radio telecommunications. The cost of the contract could now be $54,800, a year with a 3 percent increase each year.
