The department is interested in learning about costs, technology advancements and business requirements in software-as-a-service (SaaS) and/or commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) eDiscovery software that could be used in the department's Legal Division.
Responses to the RFI are due June 3. Search Event ID "0845-0000001549" on the state's procurement website.
The RFI asks a series of questions, such as:
- Do you foresee any eDiscovery technology advances that may make eDiscovery software-as-a-service more cost-effective than eDiscovery COTS Software hosted by the customer?
- What technology platforms will the eDiscovery COTS software require and can the software run in a virtual server environment?
- What type of database is required by the eDiscovery COTS software?
