The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) is seeking a CMAS-qualified contractor to provide IT consulting services on the department's Automated License Data System (ALDS).

ALDS has been in production since 2013. The system automated the manual issuance process for licensing across 11 CDFW offices and approximately 1,500 retail license agent sites throughout California through an online relational database. CDFW issues more than 320 types of sport fishing, hunting, special permits and commercial licenses, which generates $100 million annually.

The contractor, via this Request for Offer, will work with the existing ALDS contractor to facilitate change requests, best practices and other system functions, according to state records. The contract is capped at less than $500,000.
