The California Department of Technology is seeking instructor services for the new California Compliance and Security Incident Reporting System (Cal-CSIRS).

About 140 departments will use Cal-CSIRS, a Web-based reporting and tracking system accessible through a browser. No software is required.

Cal-CSIRS is replacing a previous process through which a reporter would contact the California Highway Patrol and report the incident to the Emergency Notification and Tactical Alert Center (ENTAC). In the new system, CHP will obtain the reports directly from Cal-CSIRS.

The state is rolling out Cal-CSIRS to users in five waves. The new platform is powered by Rsam.

The Department of Technology released a bid earlier this month seeking contractor services that will provide a range of training deliverables for Cal-CSIRS, such as end-user guides, webinars, FAQs and in-person training courses.

The final day to submit proposals is April 20.
