Techwire Releases Real-Time RFI/RFP Database

Techwire Insiders now have access to a new real-time database of technology-related RFPs and bids that are issued daily by California state agencies and departments.

California state agencies issue more than 600 competitive solicitations for technology products and services annually, and now, Techwire Insiders have access to a new real-time database of these tech-related RFPs and bids. This new functionality instantly alerts Techwire Insiders to developing and active IT opportunities.

Access to Verified Opportunities

Techwire’s opportunity database is powered by GovTechNavigator, the leading sales intelligence tool focused on state and local IT markets. Leveraging this tool gives Insiders access to IT procurements that have been verified and posted by trained researchers who are intimately aware of the state of California and its procurement processes. Each opportunity will include actionable information, allowing Insiders to quickly determine if an opportunity is present.

"We want our Insiders to easily cut through the $11 billion IT market in California and identify relevant and actionable IT opportunities.” said Techwire Director of Market Intelligence Joseph Morris. “We are currently tracking all open technology opportunities issued by the state of California, but we’ll soon be adding intelligence from other major California jurisdictions.”

The new database ensures that Insiders have access to all relevant details related to the solicitation, including key dates, events, documents and breakdown of the IT categories that are included in each solicitation.

“We’re focused providing our Insiders with high-quality, in-depth coverage of California’s IT market," Morris said. "Our goal is simple: to continue to roll out more data-driven tools that complement our editorial coverage that keep our Insiders in front of the people, deals, legislation and trends within California.”
