Eight California Counties Take Honors in Annual Digital Survey

Nevada County and Sonoma County took top honors this week in an annual national survey of the nation's savviest county governments using digital technology and implementing new ideas. A total of eight California counties were recognized in the 2016 Digital Counties Survey, presented by the Center for Digital Government (owned by Techwire parent company e.Republic) in partnership with the National Association of Counties (NACo).

Nevada County and Sonoma County took top honors this week in an annual national survey of the nation's savviest county governments using digital technology and implementing new ideas.

A total of eight California counties were recognized in the 2016 Digital Counties Survey, presented by the Center for Digital Government (owned by Techwire parent company e.Republic) in partnership with the National Association of Counties (NACo).

Nevada County took home the No. 1 spot in the "Up to 150,000 population" category, and Sonoma County came out on top in the "250,000-499,999 population category."
