The California Department of Technology announced its Vision 2020 pillars Tuesday at the California Technology Forum, and Chris Cruz, state deputy CIO, sat down with Techwire to discuss the tenets.
"What gets measured gets managed," Cruz said as he described the state's move toward a "strategic approach to doing business."
Developing a talented workforce, unifying digital governance as one community and ramping up cybersecurity were the key components of the plan.
