The Department of Public Health is seeking proposals from vendors for consumer research and evaluation. This will include survey design and information management.

The contract for research related to the Covered California program will be for an initial term of three years. The total cost for all awarded contracts cannot surpass $7.5 million over the three years.

The measurements built into the surveys must be reported yearly.

“The successful Proposer(s) will have demonstrated the ability to deliver high-quality actionable information in a timely manner able to inform and support Covered California’s mission, and enhance the consumer experience, including the consideration, acquisition, retention and renewal of members,” the RFP document reads.

Evaluation of current methodologies and tools is also necessary.

The program may include document management and electronic health records management, as well as statistical software use.

Covered California acknowledges that subcontractors may be necessary to provide services that the proposing vendor cannot.

The RFP closes Sept. 15.
