DMV, EDD, City of Porterville Have Bids to Watch

Three bids to watch include two RFPs and an RFQ.

The Department of Motor Vehicles has put a Data Conversion Service RFQ to get professional and technical services for data conversion of the DMV’s current Miratech, Team Connect into the new Thomson Reuter Elite, ProLaw software.

The term of the contract will be two months with an optional extension of one month. The contractor must be able to begin work within 10 business days of the award date, Aug. 15. All quotes are due by 10 a.m. Aug. 1. Contact Cathleen Guilday with any questions.

 

The city of Porterville has released an RFP for a fiber-optic panel and connective wiring project.

The contractor will be supplying all labor, materials, tools, equipment and transportation to install single-mode fiber-optic cable, splicing and termination racks, and remove existing multimode fiber-optic cable at the Porterville Developmental Center.

The Department of Employment Development put out an RFP last week for live-scan fingerprint imaging services.

According to the RFP, the contractor will be responsible for providing fingerprinting services at a minimum of 100 locations across 39 counties. This will include, but is not limited to, access to a statewide network of fingerprinting sites, Web-based registration and call center assistance, access to quality-control management and onsite mobile fingerprinting.

The term of this contract is two years, from Oct. 1 through Sept. 30, 2019. The maximum contract amount is $250,000.
