Patty Nisonger has officially assumed the position of CIO for the California High-Speed Rail Authority.
Nisonger, whose appointment was effective May 1, previously worked for Caltrans. She was brought to the Rail Authority in February to hold the position of CIO in an acting capacity, as it had been vacant for a few months, before the appointment was made permanent.
She succeeds Keith Tresh, who held the position from January until late 2016. He moved on to work as commander of the California Cybersecurity Integration Center at the Office of Emergency Services.
