Pre-Bid: Next-Generation 911 Core Services for California

The California Governor's Office of Emergency Services is soliciting feedback on a future bid opportunity that will award multiple contracts for Next-Gen 911 core services.

The procured services will process 911 emergency telephone calls to the Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs).

The CalOES 911 Branch procures next-gen 911 services via tariff rates, CALNET 2 Master Service Agreements that expire in January 2018.

California's 911 Branch oversees more than 440 PSAPs, which take an estimated 30 million calls per year.

According to the draft, the final IFB will be released in May 2016. All questions or feedback about the pre-solicitation must be submitted via email no later than March 30.
