The California Department of Water Resources is conducting research into software platforms that could be used for the State Water Project, according to a recently released RFI.

The California Department of Water Resources is conducting research into software platforms that could be used for the State Water Project, according to a recently released RFI.

"This RFI seeks input from qualified and experienced firms regarding software-as-a-service (SaaS) or commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) project and resource management software, or both. DWR is researching this functionality to manage State Water Project (SWP) finances. DWR seeks to understand if products are available in the market that meets the needs of the Department," the document says.

RFI responses are due July 19.
