CGI announced Monday, Aug. 4, that Megan Panson has been named the company’s director of business development for its California account.
Panson has worked in the IT industry for more than two decades. For the last 14 years she was a client executive in IBM’s Public Sector Sales organization, which serves multiple California state agencies.
Prior to that, Panson served as a senior project manager for IBM Global Services, managing several large application development, re-engineering and modernization projects.
“Megan’s wealth of experience and accomplishments nicely complement our California account team and our focus and commitment to the State of California. I have no doubt Megan will be a tremendous asset in further strengthening our partnership with this very important client,” said Cheryl Hotaling, CGI vice president and state of California strategic account manager.
Josh Nisbet, a former vice president of state and local markets at CGI who is based in the Sacramento area, recently left the company.
