State Treasurer's Office CIO Jan Ross announced her agency's new alternative approach to procure an update to its debt management system in 2016. The new approach, that includes "off ramps" for the state and vendor to part ways if the project goes sideways, will include an overarching contract and individual work authorizations for multiple, sequential projects to be built and delivered.
Ross said an RFO will be released at the end of January 2016 for a proposal that will build upon an existing Oracle platform. She said the agency hopes to award a contract by July 1, 2016.
