1. Email Migration Services for California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and California Correctional Health Care Services released a bid on Monday seeking a vendor to provide a phased email migration of approximately 55,000 mailboxes from the state of California's proprietary and closed CA.Mail system to Microsoft Office 365 Government, while simultaneously executing an O365 Government tenant-to-tenant migration for another 1,900 mailboxes.

The projected start date is June 30, 2017, and the project should run for four months. Cost must not exceed $950,000. RFO responses are due May 26.

2. Remote Accessible Vote By Mail Testing Services

The California Secretary of State's Office on Monday released an RFQ for a contractor to provide Remote Accessible Vote By Mail (RAVBMS) test support services.

The activity will evaluate the DemTech Ballot DNA 360Voting Absentee Delivery Portal. The process for a remote-accessible vote-by-mail system to be tested and evaluated begins with the RAVBMS vendor applying for RAVBMS testing and approval through the Secretary of State. The Secretary of State will then notify the contractor to begin work on testing the RAVBMS. The test and evaluation of RAVBMS consists of functional testing; software review; security and telecommunications testing; hardware testing; and usability, accessibility and privacy testing. Bid responses are due May 22.

3. 'Bulk Fuel' Cloud Computing

Caltrans is seeking a contractor to furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment (to include but not limited to hardware and software), and incidentals necessary to automate manually operated "bulk fuel" sites, update automated sites to a new system, and install software to allow all locations' data to be accessed via a cloud-based fuel management system. The contractor shall be responsible for the inputting of all applicable data into the cloud for the location and card data, among other responsibilities. Responses are due May 16.
