1. The Department of Water Resources (DWR) is seeking deployment and consulting from a Microsoft Cloud Services firm as the department continues its migration to a cloud environment. DWR said it recently moved its enterprise email system to Office 365, and will be migrating onto other Microsoft tools, including Azure, Skype and SharePoint. The budget for the project is $750,000. Bid quotes are due March 28.

2. A solicitation calls on bidders to provide the state of California with PC-based radio over Internet protocol (RoIP) dispatch radio console systems via a COTS software a hardware solution. The contract will be for a three-year period. Final bids are due April 14.

3. The California Department of Technology is soliciting proposals for a vendor to provide all materials, labor and equipment for the purchase and installation of AFCO Cold Aisle Containment Systems to be implemented for as many as 15 rows within the state’s Rancho Cordova data center facility. Prior efforts have completed 37 of 50 planned cold aisle containment systems. Quote submissions are due April 5. A mandatory walk-through is scheduled on March 23.

4. California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation/California Correctional Health Care Services is seeking to obtain market research data on available IT solutions to address the automation of Human Resources business functions and replace the current personnel and position management application. Current HR processes are primarily manual and labor-intensive. Interested parties are encouraged. RFI responses are due March 30.

5. Quotes are due March 23 for an Air Resources Board (ARB) bid that will replace its ListServ software with a Granicus platform. The ARB says it sends 7.4 million emails each year. The contract will be capped at less than $500,000 for a maximum of three years.
