CalSTRS also uses SAP’s Business Intelligence Module and SAP’s Supplier Relationship Management Module for procurement functionality, the organization says. CalSTRS currently has an M&O contract expiring Sept. 30, 2016 and intends to engage a provider and begin working in the fall 2016 time period. The contract opportunity is capped at approximately $1.5 million. Implemented in 1978, California's Work Sharing program "helps employers avert layoffs and retain their skilled employees when they are experiencing financial difficulties, especially during economic downturns. Employees of these participating employers will remain employed while working reduced hours, but the WS program will help to offset their wage loss with Unemployment Insurance benefits." Bid responses are due April 25. Read more about this bid here.

The Department of General Services has released a bid seeking vendors to provide printers and multifunctional devices (MFDs) to the state of California and participating local governmental agencies at contracted pricing.
