The Office of Systems Integration (OSI) on Thursday released finalized bid documents seeking proposers to provide systems integration services for a new Management Information System for California's Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) public benefits program.

The Office of Systems Integration (OSI) on Thursday released finalized bid documents seeking proposers to provide systems integration services for a new Management Information System for California's Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) public benefits program.

The California Department of Public Health manages the WIC program.

Under the $90.3 million project, CDPH "proposes to replace the antiquated Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Integrated Statewide Information System (ISIS) and its supplemental applications with a modern, proven system used in other states. The proposed solution will allow the WIC Program, local agencies, and retailers to conduct business functions through one convenient web-based integrated solution," according to a California Department of Technology project description.

California is facing a mandate to replace the legacy system by October 2020 with an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT)-functional, federally approved Management Information System.

Here are the Key Action Dates as they currently stand. They're subject to change.
