The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is seeking an enterprise solution for a data exchange and data delivery tool.

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is seeking an enterprise solution for a data exchange and data delivery tool.

The department, in an RFQ released this week, wrote that it "has current and future needs to extract, consolidate, transform and transfer data from various heterogeneous data sources with varied levels of data security for both internal and external CDCR customers. In addition, the methods of delivery may vary based on the customers' requirements, such as batch mode using file-based or message-based transfers, or real-time mode using Web services or Application Program Interfaces (APIs).

"CDCR is currently engaged in various projects that require data integration from multiple data sources with disparate data delivery methods in a secure manner that meets the organization's Information Security Office (ISO) security requirements, state data security requirements, and Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) compliance."

The initial contract will be for six months, with two one-year options. Here are the key action dates. More information is available on the state's procurement website, Cal eProcure.
