Isilon: Scale-out your architecture

Thursday, June 18, 2020
11:00 AM EDT | 4:00 PM GMT

As data continues to grow at an unrelenting pace, it is being processed in new ways and becoming more distributed across data centers and clouds.

A key feature of the Isilon platform is its scalability. In this live webinar, Chris will:

  • demonstrate how to add nodes and increase capacity and performance as you need it over time
  • show what happens when you add nodes and the available functionality to you to control the process

Isilon: Simplify and Consolidate Workflows

Thursday, June 25, 2020
11:00 AM EDT | 4:00 PM GMT

Bring silos of data storage and workflows together on one platform. Discover how to bring them together, but also control appropriate separation. In this live webinar, Chris will:

  • demonstrate via a whiteboard exercise how to bring silos of data storage and workflows together on one platform
  • show via video presentation how to bring storage together, but also control appropriate separation

Isilon: Adjust and Configure Data Protection Settings

Thursday, July 9, 2020
11:00 AM EDT | 4:00 PM GMT

Strategically adjust file data protection higher where needed and lower it to improve efficiencies exactly where you need it. In this live webinar, Chris will:

  • deliver a demonstration that shows you exactly what protection your files are capable of performing
  • introduce Isilon Administration and Management lab environment where you can gain practical hands-on experience

Isilon: Adapt and Change File and Node Pools

Thursday, July 16, 2020
11:00 AM EDT | 4:00 PM GMT

Once Node Pools are created, they can be easily modified to adapt to changing requirements. Individual nodes can be reassigned from one node pool to another. Node Pool associations can be discarded, releasing member nodes so they can be added to new or existing pools. Node Pools can also be renamed at any time without changing any other settings in the Node Pool configuration.

In this webinar, Chris will:

  • demonstrate how to build workflows into tiers using Node Pools all within the same cluster
  • show you examples using video and whiteboard of how to set up your tiers, and what happens to data once your setup is complete, enabling you to get the most out of your legacy hardware
