California Courts Pursue Hosted Solutions, Staff Augmentation Services

During the past year the Judicial Council of California says it spent $8 million for technical staff augmentation personnel.

The Judicial Council of California is seeking a hosted software solution for Internet-based employment recruitment and is developing master agreements for technical staff augmentation services that courts across the state can use.

The Council released the two bids on April 19. Responses are due in May.

During the past year the Council spent $8 million for technical staff augmentation personnel, according to procurement documents. The new master agreements will be for an initial two-year term that can be extended an additional three years.

The agreements will cover staffing needs for the Judicial Council of California located in San Francisco and its regional offices in Burbank and Sacramento, and the needs for the Courts of Appeal located in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, Fresno and San Jose.

On behalf of California's 58 Superior Courts, the Council also is procuring the Internet-based employment recruitment solution. The hosted solution will post job openings and receive, store and process qualified applications.
