The California Health and Human Services Agency is recruiting for two significant IT positions, one with the Department of Health Care Services and the other with the Office of Systems Integration.

The first is with the Department of Health Care Services, which is seeking a Program Management Officer for Enterprise Innovation and Technology Services. This is a Career Executive Assignment Level B position, leading the department's Program Management Office within the Enterprise Innovation and Technology Services (EITS) Division.

The position, which is posted on CalCareers until filled, calls for:
-- Demonstrated knowledge of the state's IT standards, policies, and procedures as they relate to project management and enterprise architecture.
-- Demonstrated knowledge of policies and operational activities that ensure the successful implementation of the department's IT initiatives and projects.
-- Knowledge of project and portfolio governance.
-- Ability to monitor progress, scope, quality and costs of IT projects.
-- Ability to participate in the departmental budgetary process and work with state and federal control agencies.
-- Knowledge and experience in both small and large IT and business projects in a complex environment.
-- Knowledge of the MITA.
-- Knowledge of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).

The salary range for this position is $120,120 to $143,088. The posting includes no application deadline.

The Office of Systems Integration is recruiting for a Staff Services II Supervisor, also called a Financial Manager, and according to the posting on CalCareers, the requirements include:
-- Experience working on large IT projects (budget estimated at $50 million).
-- At least two years’ experience estimating and projecting budget needs and the state budget process.
-- Experience working with the California Department of Finance, California Department of Technology, and the federal government.
-- Ability to make decisions and solve problems involving varied levels of complexity and risk.
