The California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board (CUIAB) is seeking a Chief Information Officer (IT Manager I) whose duties will include providing “vision and leadership for developing and implementing CUIAB’s information technology initiatives.” In consultation with the executive director, the CIO “directs the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems, in support of CUIAB’s business operations to improve cost effectiveness, service quality, and business development. This individual is responsible for all aspects of CUIAB’s information technology and systems.”

The position has a salary range of $85,100 to $114,048, and applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

The California Department of Developmental Services is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (IT Specialist III) to oversee information technology architecture practices and methodologies. The candidate should understand software and system engineering; project and vendor management; IT security; service-oriented and event-driven architecture; systems design; technology integration; and infrastructure platforms and protocols.

The position has a salary range of $86,208 to $115,524, and the application deadline is Friday.

The California Department of Water Resources is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (IT Manager II) to oversee IT for the DWR and to serve as CTO for the California Natural Resources Agency private shared-services and data center environments.

Candidates must “possess extensive knowledge and experience in information technology areas of: infrastructure operations; service management; infrastructure architecture; IT Governance; IT project management; and IT policy and practice development.” Experience is required in developing and leading enterprise technology strategic and tactical direction.

The position has a salary range of $103,260 to $125,508, and the application deadline is July 20.

And the California Department of General Services is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (IT Manager II) for its Yolo County facility — the application deadline is July 23.

The position calls for someone to oversee technology, policy and governance in the Enterprise Technology Solutions realm, in consultation with the Chief Information Officer. The position has a salary range of $103,260 to $125,508, and the application deadline is July 23.
