AWS Names Sales Professional Zvolanek to Senior Account Exec Role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has named sales and marketing professional Amanda Zvolanek to the position of senior account executive, serving state government.

Zvolanek is a Roseville resident who began her new role this month, coming from Palo Alto Networks, where she was an account executive.

“AWS is excited to announce that Amanda Zvolanek has joined the AWS State of CA team, serving the needs of California’s state government,” said Mark Spitzer, AWS’ senior manager for state of California clients. “She brings a rich background, intellectual horsepower and passion to this key role!”

In addition to sales and marketing, Zvolanek has a background in business development and finance. Before her affiliation with Palo Alto Networks, she held a series of increasingly responsible positions with Northwestern Mutual including director of operations and chief financial officer/chief operating officer. After her tenure with Northwestern Mutual, she moved to Visionary Integration Professionals (VIP), where she was business development and marketing manager and then senior business development executive, serving the public sector.

Zvolanek is an alum of California State University at Chico, where she majored in organizational communication and marketing. Zvolanek has numerous professional credentials, and she’s also a notary public. Her outside interests include volleyball, volunteering with NorCal Boxer Rescue, skiing and hiking.
