Bearden Joins Consolidated Communications as Senior Network Engineer

Folsom resident Brian Bearden has a deep background in network engineering, having began his tech career in the U.S. Marine Corps as a computer and network specialist. He joined Internet provider Consolidated Communications this month.

Longtime technology professional Brian Bearden has joined Internet provider Consolidated Communications in Roseville in the role of senior sales engineer.

Bearden has a deep background in network engineering. He began his tech career in the U.S. Marine Corps as a computer and network specialist, and from there he joined Lucent Technologies as a network engineer. He held similar roles with a Chicago-based law firm and with the nonprofit Feeding America before affiliating with Centrify, a Santa Clara-based company that specializes in privileged access management.

The Folsom resident’s LinkedIn profile cites his areas of expertise as program management, cloud computing, virtual private networks (VPN) and TCP/IP.
