Tong, Wilkening to Discuss Digital Successes

California's Chief Information Officer Amy Tong and Health and Human Services Agency Secretary Michael Wilkening will discuss past successes and future plans on Nov. 15.

The event, The Future of Digital Government in California, is organized by Code for Code for America and will focus on what California's next governor should do to promote data and delivery-driven government.

"Amy Tong and Michael Wilkening have learned the value of this approach as well as the significant challenges it presents, and all of us in the state and around the country have a stake in how California continues on this path," said Code for America founder Jennifer Pahlka.

The event will take being at 5:30 p.m. at Code for America's building in San Francisco.
