California Tahoe Conservancy Seeks CIO

The California Tahoe Conservancy is seeking a chief information officer who will have full responsibility for the department's information technology environment, operations, personnel and budget.

The California Tahoe Conservancy, whose mission is to lead the state's efforts to "restore and enhance the extraordinary natural and recreation resources of the Lake Tahoe Basin" on the California side of the lake, is seeking a chief information officer.

The CIO will have full responsibility for the California Tahoe Conservancy information technology environment, operations, personnel and budget, according to the job listing.
 
"The CIO is responsible for planning, directing, controlling, and implementing information technology work activities," says the position description. "The incumbent has authority for formulating, approving, and implementing information technology policies, practices, processes, and standards that have significant impact on enterprise programs. Incumbent directs the implementation of critical projects related to the delivery of technology solutions and services."

The position is classified as an Information Technology Manager I, and the salary range is from $88,512 to $118,608. The application deadline is Jan. 31.
