California's Winning Counties By the Numbers

In the 16th Annual Digital Counties Survey, a national ranking conducted by the Center for Digital Government, some California counties came out shining — and two in particular, Sonoma and Nevada counties, were rated the tops in their population categories. They’ve learned to cope with the unexpected and seen their thoughtful investments bear fruit in the face of unexpected challenges.

“Innovative counties are utilizing technology and data to better inform and protect themselves and their citizens, to save taxpayer money and to provide a better citizen experience,” said Teri Takai, CDG executive director. “The Center for Digital Government congratulates this year’s winners for all the efforts they are making to improve the lives of their residents and others.”
