Cannabis Bureau Sets Meetings Next Week for Industry

Three subcommittees will address delivery, testing labs and equity, and the full advisory committee will meet.

The state Cannabis Advisory Committee is planning three meetings next week in Los Angeles for those involved or interested in the industry.

The committee advises the Bureau of Cannabis Control (BCC), the California Department of Food and Agriculture, and the California Department of Public Health on the development of regulations that help protect public health and safety and reduce the illegal market for cannabis.

BCC announced three meetings — the Subcommittee on Delivery, the Subcommittee on Testing Labs, and the Subcommittee on Equity — beginning at 10 a.m. June 27 at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles.

The full Cannabis Advisory Committee will meet at 10 a.m. June 28, at the same hotel. That meeting will be live-streamed for those unable to attend. For those who do plan to attend, BCC advises arriving early as seating is limited.

The meeting agenda is available on the BCC website, which includes a variety of resources.
