CDT Seeks Vendor for Multiple Services

CDT offers many software services to state departments under one statewide contract, in order to save on the cost of subscription services.

The Department of Technology has released an invitation for bid that would create one contract for IBM Passport Advantage Software renewals across multiple departments.

The contract would continue the state’s use of IBM Passport Advantage.

"The goal is to continue the existing IBM services and to assist the other State entities in meeting their business needs.  The collective bargaining power of creating one contract creates cost efficiency as well as efficiency in distribution," the IFB reads.

The contract is for one year. It will begin around Jan. 1, 2019 and will be awarded to the lowest-cost bid that meets all requirements.

Vendor questions are due by email to the procurement official by Nov. 26 at noon. Bids are due by Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. and will be evaluated through Dec. 10. The award will be made on Dec. 18.

CDT offers many software services to state departments under one statewide contract, in order to save on the cost of subscription services. Passport Advantage serves that need as a single contract for multiple software license acquisitions, including fixed term, subscriptions and support.

CDT has offered IBM Security Access Management for single sign-on identity management to qualifying departments that request it.
