CDT Wants Vendors' Questions Before Next Week's Forum

Speaking at the event will be CDT Director and state CIO Amy Tong, and Richard Rogers, chief of the Office of Technology Services and interim chief deputy director of CDT.

The California Department of Technology (CDT) is putting out a call for vendors’ questions in the run-up to next week’s Vendor Forum for those who do business with the state — and those who want to. The event is already at capacity but it will be available via webinar or later via recording.

The department is hoping to get lots of questions before Wednesday’s event, so they may be answered thoroughly and promptly.

Speaking at the event will be CDT Director and state CIO Amy Tong, and Richard Rogers, chief of the Office of Technology Services and interim chief deputy director of CDT.

CDT said in a news release that it will “provide the vendor/partner community with valuable information on how their companies can partner with the State of California. Vendors will also be given an opportunity to ask questions, make suggestions and provide feedback on the information provided.”

Anyone with questions for CDT may submit them online. At the last Vendor Forum, in October, more than 100 people attended.

The event runs from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. July 24 in Training Rooms A, B and C, 1500 Capitol Ave., Sacramento.
