CDT Web Services Meeting to Focus on AI, Innovation

The California Department of Technology's Office of Digital Innovation is holding a meeting Thursday that will include information about single sign-on, artificial intelligence and a civic user testing portal. It's being offered as a webinar, as well.

The California Department of Technology's Digital Web Services Network meeting is Thursday, and for those who can't attend, it'll be available as a webinar as well.

CDT established the network as "a forum where state partners (and) local government can share information for digital services including policy, technology, tools and best practices. The network is open to anyone interested in meeting organizational business objectives through the use of best practices for digital services." It's led by CDT's Office of Digital Innovation.

"The DWSN participants will build and foster relationships within the digital services community and focus on topics including user research and user-centered design. The DWSN has been expanded from CDT’s Webmaster User Group to include both web and digital services."

The agenda for Thursday's quarterly meeting includes:

  • WordPress and State Template
  • Web Accessibility Toolkit Overview and Discussion
  • Digital Services Innovation Academy (DSIA) Application Demo and Discussion
    • Single Sign-on for Services
    • Civic User Testing Portal
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) Demo and Discussion
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at CDT’s Training Center, 10860 Gold Center Drive, Rancho Cordova.
