Chief Technology Officer Position in Recruitment

The CTO (IT Manager II) is responsible for the oversight of the Technology Services Division's IT staff at Metropolitan, Patton, Atascadero, Coalinga and Napa State Hospitals.

The Department of State Hospitals is recruiting for a Chief Technology Officer to assume full management responsibility for a large enterprise application development and data processing infrastructure.

The position (IT Manager II) reports to the Chief Information Officer in the department, which consists of six physical locations. Through an IT Manager I (Hospital Services Manager), the IT Manager II is responsible for the oversight of the TSD Information Technology staff at Metropolitan, Patton, Atascadero, Coalinga and Napa State Hospitals, according to the job posting.

A Statement of Qualifications is required in which applicants should describe their experience:

  • Developing and implementing strategic plans and blueprints that are aligned with departmental and agency goals and objectives
  • Developing and managing an information technology budget and procurement strategy in the context of business prioritization while addressing enterprise standards.
  • As a senior-level leader in a complex information technology organization; discuss your experience in managing large-scale application development efforts as well as complex server and network infrastructure.
The position has a monthly salary range of $9,262 to $11,258, and the application deadline is Feb. 27.
