College District Recruiting for Director of Enterprise Services

Los Rios Community College District is recruiting for a director of enterprise services, overseeing operations of the district’s production services and technical services teams and ensuring their alignment with business services.

The functions of the production services and technical services teams include the professional disciplines of networking, storage, database, server administration, virtualization of applications, servers, desktops, data management, information security, IT service management, IT help desk, telecommunications, unified communications, learning management systems/academic applications, asset management, project and portfolio management, and engineering of secure and standard desktop images and configurations.

The director, who will report to the district’s vice chancellor of IT, “implements enterprise systems and policies that enable integrated and scalable solutions, maximize effectiveness, and improve service and quality,” according to the job posting. Other responsibilities include “constantly assessing existing and emerging technologies and (identifying) those that can contribute most effectively to the business objectives and goals at the district and college levels.”

The position (Director II) has an annual salary range of $145,664 to $157,672, and an additional stipend is available if the candidate has an earned doctorate with an accredited university. The application deadline is March 8.
