Comcast Business has named sales veteran Mark Brunello of Roseville as the new Strategic Account Manager for state government.

Brunello says he has “deep knowledge of telecommunications, Ethernet services, dark fiber, VOIP, collocation, LAN, WAN, hosting, as well as most voice and data services.”

Brunello began his career with Staples Australia/New Zealand, serving as a Senior Account Executive and then Sales Manager, before moving to a Senior Account Executive role with XO Communications. From there, Brunello joined Comcast as an Enterprise Account Executive. He joined Wave Business after that before moving to his current role with Comcast Business.

“Outside of work, I am an avid outdoorsman and enjoy watching sports,” Brunello told Techwire. “My greatest joy is spending time with my wife and three daughters, especially traveling with them and attending their softball games.”

He attended Santa Barbara City College and graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a bachelor’s in agribusiness with a concentration in marketing.
