Covered California is recruiting for a chief of Enterprise Applications to manage enterprise applications architecture, business operations goals and objectives, and to perform long-range strategic planning activities.

The chief position (IT Manager II) delivers road maps and influences policy for enterprise application standards and practices for multiple operating systems and applications within Covered California (CC), which connects Californians with brand-name health insurance under the Affordable Care Act.  

The chief “manages and directs activities to assess and analyze solutions, obtains budget, procures, and implements information technology solutions to meet CC enterprise-wide business and technical objectives,” the job posting says. “Manages an internal applications team that supports applications such as SharePoint, O365 applications, Workday and Salesforce Service Cloud.”

In addition, the chief “procures and completes competitive procurement-related activities for hardware, software and information technology services following industry best practices” and “ensures compliance with CC policies and procedures as well as federal and state requirements.”

The position has a monthly salary range of $9,725 to $11,821, and the application deadline is Feb. 4. More information can be found in the job description.
