Cate-Clements, based in the Los Angeles area, joined Cradlepoint in October 2017 as a regional account manager for State, Local and Education in California, Nevada and Hawaii. She was promoted to public sector strategic account manager one year ago. Her new role as director of Public Sales for the West took effect this month, she told Techwire.
“Over the past three years, Cradlepoint has provided me with a remarkable opportunity to serve in the roles of both Regional and Strategic Public Sector Account Manager,” Cate-Clements said in an email. “It is with great honor and pride [that I] embark on the role of director. I am elated, honored and excited to embark on this new role with Cradlepoint.”
Before joining Cradlepoint, Cate-Clements held a series of increasingly responsible positions with Fortinet.
She has a bachelor's of science in science education from Indiana University at Bloomington, a master's of science in curriculum and instruction from Purdue University, and a doctorate in curriculum and instruction from Loyola University.
Cradlepoint was founded in 2006, acquired by Ericsson in 2020, and operates today as a standalone subsidiary within Ericsson’s Business Area Technologies and New Businesses. Cradlepoint is headquartered in Boise, Idaho, with development centers in Silicon Valley and India, and international offices in the UK and Australia.
