The Davis resident joins Snowflake from SAS, where she held a series of increasingly responsible roles in the areas of engineering, data analytics and security intelligence. Before her affiliation with SAS, Rostovtseva worked with the University of California, San Francisco and with UnitedHealth Group/Optum.
“I was thoroughly impressed with the Snowflake technology and how it helps customers leverage data,” Rostovtseva told Techwire. “With so many friends and former colleagues already at Snowflake, making the switch was an easy decision.”
Rostovtseva has master’s degrees in sociology (Novosibirsk State University), community development (University of California, Davis) and analytics (Capella University), as well as a GIS certification from American River College and numerous professional certifications from Microsoft, SAS and Snowflake.
