The Sacramento-area resident had been principal solutions architect for the company for the last two years before being named to the lead role. Before joining Elastic in September 2018, he was a technical account manager and solutions specialist for State, Local and Education with Red Hat Inc. Before moving into the private sector, Pane had been with the California Department of Justice, first as a senior programmer analyst and then as a systems software specialist.
“I’m looking forward to the opportunity to help grow Elastic’s footprint in the public sector,” Pane told Techwire. “Elastic is a fantastic company that is changing how state and local agencies look at data, and I’m excited to be a part of that.”
Pane attended San Diego State University, majoring in computer science and mathematics. He has a certification as an AWS Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services.
