Fisher Is Pegasystems' New Executive for State, Local Government Alliances

Kristine Fisher is a frequent speaker on various disciplines at conferences and events, including topics related to women in industry as well as public and private contracts, and sales strategies.

Technology and procurement veteran Kristine Fisher has joined Pegasystems Inc. as the State and Local Government Strategic Alliances Executive.

Fisher began her career as a procurement officer with the U.S. Air Force, achieving certifications for advanced contract pricing, negotiation, sole-source selection, and contract law, and she obtained expert knowledge in Federal Acquisition Regulations. She then served as a senior IT procurement official for the California Department of General Services.

After her work in government, Fisher moved to the private sector, serving in various roles with EMC (now DellEMC), SHI International and Splunk before joining Pegasystems.

Fisher, who’s based in the Sacramento area, told Techwire that she’s “honored to join Pegasystems Inc. and begin building successful partner relationships in State and Local Government for the Western Region. … It’s so exciting to be able to affect change in an area where citizens need it most.”

Fisher is a frequent speaker on various disciplines at conferences and events, including topics related to women in industry as well as public and private contracts, and sales strategies. She is active in several professional associations, including Women in Cloud, Women in Technology, Women In Technology International, and the National Contract Management Association. She also works closely with large businesses, as well as those owned by women, minorities and disabled veterans. Fisher is also owner of Kaleidoscope Works.
