Fortinet Names Sales Veteran Raynes Major Account Manager

Raynes, who has been in IT sales for more than 20 years, joined Fortinet after successful sales roles at Commvault and Enterprise Networking Solutions (now Optm), focused primarily on California state government.

“I am very excited to be at Fortinet,” Raynes told Techwire. “Fortinet’s portfolio has the largest offerings in cybersecurity supporting some of the largest agencies in the state.”

Raynes, who has been a Sacramento-area resident since 2017, is a native New Yorker who came to California in 1998.

In his LinkedIn profile, he cites his “experience in managing enterprise accounts with continuous education, training, team building activities, and supporting current investments in the infrastructure.”

Raynes received his associate’s degree in business from Suffolk County Community College.
