The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) wrapped a slow month for purchases of IT services, but still spent in the high seven figures on what it purchased.

CDPH made just three purchases of IT services in January and spent $7.95 million on IT maintenance and other areas of technology. Here, with rounding, is what that money paid for, based on data in the State Contract and Procurement Registration System:

  • $7.2 million to Deloitte for maintenance and operations work on the AIDS Drug Assistance Program Enrollment System, at its Office of AIDS – and nominal changes. This is a two-year contract, from Jan. 1-Dec. 31, 2024.
  • $500,000 to Innovative Solutions for IT training. This is a two-year contract, from Jan. 25-Jan. 24, 2024.
  • $250,000 to Crowe for IT consulting – duty officer database services. This is a roughly 18-month contract, from Jan. 5-June 30, 2023.
