The iFish Group Adds 2 IT Veterans to Security Team

Senior consultants Jeff Neithercutt and Mike Coatsworth both have more than two decades’ experience in the cybersecurity area in the public and private sectors.

The iFish Group of Sacramento has expanded its security practice with the addition of two senior consultants to the team.

The company provides security consulting including Information Security, SecOps and Governance in addition to strategy consulting, project management and application development delivery and maintenance.

New to the company are:

  • Jeff Neithercutt of Davis, who has 25 years of IT experience and was most recently a senior cybersecurity consultant with Public Consulting Group. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), and he has a master’s degree in cybersecurity and information assurance, with a specialization in ethical hacking and penetration testing. Neithercutt is also active in the High Technology Crime Investigation Association and the Information Systems Security Association. His background includes having served as an information security analyst and engineer.
  • Mike Coatsworth of the Sacramento area, who has 20 years of IT experience — 17 of which were in systems security applying security policies, standards, testing, modification and implementation. Coatsworth also has extensive experience serving as an information systems security officer, collaborating with institutional risk governance processes and providing information system security auditing, risk assessment, and outside-audit support. Coatsworth’s previous affiliations include Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Taborda Solutions.
