Jennings started in technology more than 20 years ago with Bosch as a software support representative. His subsequent affiliations include Allied Network Solutions, where he was an account manager and then an account executive sales manager; and AHEAD (a merger of AHEAD, RoundTower and Kovarus), where he was client director before joining Citrix this month.
Jennings also posted a message on LinkedIn to his former colleagues.
“The folks at AHEAD are the best in the industry, and I’m thankful that I had the opportunity to work with this very talented group,” he wrote. “However, when the opportunity presented itself at Citrix, I could not decline. I am wishing the AHEAD team all the best, and I look forward to this new journey at Citrix!”
Jennings told Techwire that his previous experience will help him in his new role.
“Having supported state and local government from several facets of IT allows me the insight to assist agencies to have confidence securing their data while providing access to their remote workers — no matter where work needs to get done,” Jennings said. “Citrix could not be better positioned to help state and local government agencies provide a user-friendly yet effective work experience in the hybrid office environment where many employees find themselves.”
Jennings, a Rocklin resident, has a bachelor’s degree in business administration, management and operations from William Jessup University, and he has professional credentials from Cisco, CompTIA and Citrix.
