MuleSoft Names Marshall Senior Account Exec for State

“As I lead our business within the California Health and Human Services Agency, my primary focus in the nearer term is to advocate for, and ensure the success of, our existing customers within the agency,” Trevor Marshall told Techwire. “It is imperative that we deliver on our commitments and help our customers realize their objectives.”

Trevor Marshall, a sales professional with more than 15 years in the tech sector, has joined MuleSoft as a senior account executive serving California state government.

Before the Sacramento-based Marshall joined MuleSoft, he was cloud infrastructure sales manager for Oracle.

“As I lead our business within the California Health and Human Services Agency, my primary focus in the nearer term is to advocate for, and ensure the success of, our existing customers within the agency,” Marshall told Techwire. “It is imperative that we deliver on our commitments and help our customers realize their objectives.”

Marshall said he has specific goals.

“As we expand and grow in the months and years ahead, I want to help establish a MuleSoft community within the agency, and in partnership with my counterpart, across the state, to share learnings and best practices that enable the reuse of integration technologies and best practices to maximize ROI (return on investment) and time to value for the state and its constituents."

Before his affiliations with Oracle and MuleSoft, Marshall held sales management and executive roles with Konica Minolta Business Solutions and HERE Technologies.

He explained why he chose to join MuleSoft: “MuleSoft has an extremely strong and immensely relevant product portfolio, uniquely positioned to provide value to nearly all key state initiatives, and it’s also nice to join the Salesforce family, further complimenting and enabling investments the state has made in the platform,” he said.

Marshall has a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics, with a minor in religious studies, from UC Davis.

“Outside of work activities, any and all of my free time is typically spent with my wife and two children,” he said, “with extra emphasis here since my kids are small, and I really try to prioritize being present as best I can. As for hobbies, we enjoy skiing, biking and traveling when possible.”
