New Academy Grads Post Video Testimonials for ITLA

The state offers four academies – ITLA as well as the Project Management Leadership Academy, the Digital Services Innovation Academy and the Information Security Leadership Academy.

The graduating class of California’s flagship career development program for technology has posted video testimonials after their recent graduation – the 28th group, or cohort, to complete training under the Information Technology Leadership Academy, a training ground for future IT executives.

The 3 1/2-minute video includes endorsements of ITLA as a career booster.

The state offers four academies – ITLA as well as the Project Management Leadership Academy, the Digital Services Innovation Academy and the Information Security Leadership Academy. Instruction is done by experienced leaders in state government as well as from the industry, and participation is open to eligible public-sector employees in California. Among the academies’ goals is to create and foster a pipeline for professionals who wish to advance in state government.

Overseeing the academies and other career training programs is Brenda Bridges-Cruz, deputy CDT director for the Office of Professional Development.
